The Pink City, Jaipur, Rajasthan

This is Hawa Mahal a 5 storey 152 rooms with hanging balconies where royal ladies looked at the processions below, now it's a museum. When it's breezy the wind veins move in all directions.

We had two connecting flights to get us here, and if the crew had served us the curried chick pea wraps earlier, we wouldn't have needed a jet engine -  phew. Needless to say we arrived very late. This morning our driver Baboo, and yes honestly that was his name, took us on a whistle stop tour. It really is pink everywhere, except for the Amber Fort where we plan to have our elephant ride tomorrow as the queues were about 2 hours long, although it was cool about 25c

This is The Floating Palace where I managed to get a shot of this Rajasthan girl who I thought looked stunning.
