Trip to the Bazaar

It's definitely getting hotter, yesterday himself got my food safety digital thermometer out and we
were shocked to see the reading, sorry about the close up shot of his midriff! So every day the heat increases; we're not too bothered, 30c is about normal kitchen temp, and having had our own catering company for 30 years we're used to it, UK temperatures really do fill us full of horrors at this time of year, himself with just one lung would never go outside and the heating would be on warp drive.

Today I received a phone call from Lawrence & Mayo to say my new specs were ready, so we set off to Margao to pick them up and get a bit of shopping.
My new bins, half the price of spec savers and boots.

The world and his uncle has a bike/scooter and as we walked to the new market we got ourselves into the zone, telepathically of course, so no one ran us over, we just walked into the road, they take it all in their stride, no swearing/finger gestures nothing, they just drive round you. They sell everything in here
You name it you can buy it
Temple flowers, fruit, veg, knicker elastic, Indian puncture repair outfits, jewellery,  it's here.
Don't know I would ever buy these, they're Goan sausages on the strings by the meat. I haven't seen a fly in India yet, that's because they're all here! I had to photograph the edge of himself to get the shot, I love his new elephant shirt.

We bought a night light for by the bed, I can't be doing with getting up to switch off the room light, unfortunately it's a Micky and Minnie Mouse one 😊picture later.
One thing we've noticed the traffic is getting worse, police on traffic duty in Margao.

So back home to the sticks, tonight we're all off to see Graham & Al, UB40 tribute band at Pedros in Benaulim beach with some other long stay friends.
