Food

We have had some wonderful food here. This was our breakfast fruit platter made by the lovely Sanjay, definitely getting our 8 a day and all for a few pounds.
and this is where we have our morning latte.

Light lunch is the order of the day - a few veggie samosas and onion bhajis and the odd Kingfisher or nice chicken tikka all about £1 - £2.50
With the rupee being nearly 100 to the £
you can see how cheap it is to
eat out.
Today we went to Benaulim about five miles away and had a change of scenery and were treated to a group of bongo players who entertained us.
They were a group who were playing at a yoga school and were from Vienna?! There's a great German backery in Benaulim more temptation!

As we came back along the village lanes we saw lots of Europeans our age group all doing the same as us - reliving their youth on the backs of scooters and motor bikes. We stopped for an ice cream at Baskin   Robins butterscotch and vanilla yum yum
