Our wacky friends

We've met so many old friends again in Goa and some new ones who I am sure will be friends for life.
Jerry very kindly lent us his Harley- what beauty, we certainly got some looks on this one as it throbbed up the lanes.

We met Suzanna and James from Australia a couple of weeks back. Both are wine lovers, wine isn't drunk much in India, and when they finally found a bottle  of reasonably drinkable Sauvignon blanc
James said "don't you have wine glasses"! It's not quite the same out of a half pint glass.
Fred and Val are regular visitors staying for a month every year. Val had a pacemaker fitted 3 years ago in the Apollo private hospital- where himself was treated for his dodgy ears.  They got tangled up with a couple of Russians on a gin drinking session on Vals 79 th birthday. They're a great couple who have lived in Saudi, Uganda and Oman with amazing tales about scuba diving all over the world.

John and Denice are always up for a laugh, it's our second year with them.

Today we met three more Brits who have been doing a tour of India - Kerela- Agra Dehli- Goa and the ladies are about our age and staying in one of the villas. On the way back from the beach on the bike we saw them trying to untie a buffalo that had got tangled up!
You couldn't make it up ......
