Wildlife in our field

Just a little about the ever changing views in the fields surrounding our digs.
At about 8.30 the birds line up on the electricity wires drinking the water droplets that collect from condensation.
Just a few of the birds we see everyday
There are a pair of kingfishers, twice the size of uk species with a huge beak

Fred and Val kindly gave us their binoculars. There is a local herder who brings his goats, he also has some catfish he caught in the waterhole

It's an ever changing scene ....
The buffalo herd won't keep still so better shots another time.....
The pigs are always snuffling  about surrounded by egrets or the peacocks
It's surreal
